Toowoomba is a prosperous regional Queensland city, located 90 minutes west of Brisbane (by road). Set high on the edge of the Great Dividing Range and overlooking the Lockyer Valley (to the east), Toowoomba is known for its beautiful views, elegant gardens and quality living environment.

The Darling Downs

In the western parts of the Darling Downs there are rolling plains and little rural townships while in the northern areas visitors will find hamlets strung along the eastern escarpment, home to nurseries, cafés, museums and galleries. 

The Southern Downs is the perfect altitude for growing grapes and wineries dot the landscape. In the north-west, the Bunya Mountains rise dramatically against the sky and offer spectacular mountain scenery, walking trails and abundant wildlife.
