Pressure injuries are one of the top three causes of patient harm. They are estimated to cost the Australian Government approximately $285,000,000 per year.
Pressure injuries are always painful and can be fatal. They decrease a person’s enjoyment of life even after they are healed … often for the rest of their life.

You will find Council parking spaces surrounding the hospital on Mackenzie, Scott and Curzon Streets. Public car parks are also located on Scott Street (behind Impressions on Scott cafe) and within the hospital grounds via Entrance 4 off Curzon Street.

An additional public car park, located underneath the Medici Medical Centre on Scott Street, charges a small parking fee of $2 per hour and a $10 maximum daily charge.

Disabled car parking can be found inside Scott Street Entrances 1, 2 and 3 and Curzon Street Entrance 4. Pick up and drop off zones are also allocated at these entrances.
