Dr Richard Pendleton is a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and Anaesthetist.  He is trained in all aspects of pain medicine, and specialises in the use of minimally invasive techniques to improve the pain and function of people suffering from spinal and neuropathic pain.

He is a founding member of Interventus Pain Specialists. His practice is set up to manage all aspects of a patients’ pain experience, including full assessment and management of the underlying condition and of the sequelae of persistent pain.  He has a special interest in interventional treatments for persistent pain conditions. The aim of interventional treatment is to improve function, whilst decreasing the reliance on analgesic medication.

    Dr Pendleton obtained his medical degree from the University of Otago, New Zealand, in 1998.  He has worked nearly 20 years in Brisbane.  He has duel Specialty recognition, encompassing both Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine.  He does interventional procedures at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba every second Friday.
