Visiting hours

Visitor Restrictions:

As of Monday 30th March there have been changes made to accessing St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba along with further visitor restrictions.   These have been implemented to support increased COVID-19 precautions. 

The only access to the hospital will be through Entrance 1 and Entrance 4.  Every visitor will be asked to wash their hands and outline their reason for visiting the hospital.

  • There will only be one visitor per patient per day for a maximum of one hour.
  • Visiting times 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm
  • All visitors must be 16 years old or above
  • Only spouse / partner can visit Maternity , Parents only can visitPaediatrics and the Special Care Nursery
  • The same restrictions will also apply to the Intensive Care Unit
  • Non-essential deliveries to the hospital including flowers and gift baskets are not permitted until further notice.

These changes are in place until further notice.  We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this important matter.

 

 

If you have any of the following flu-like symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Fatigue
  • Sore throat
  • Shortness of breath

DO NOT enter any hospital building.

Staying with children

One parent may stay overnight in a recliner chair with a child up to 15 years of age if required.

Visitor safety

Please don’t use mobile phones near monitoring equipment as they may interfere with our patient systems.

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is a smoke-free hospital. Please do not smoke anywhere on site, including the car parks and outdoor areas.
