Covid message

St Vincent's is working closely with the State Government’s Department of Health to help protect and keep safe our patients, visitors, staff and doctors from COVID-19. Our hospital remains open and fully functional, with the appropriate safeguards and containment precautions now in place.

If you think you may have COVID-19:

  1. Call 13 HEALTH (13 43 25 84)
  2. Self-Isolate
  3. Present to the Baillie Henderson Hospital, COVID-19 Fever Clinic, 10am-4.00pm 7 Days,
  4. In an emergency, dial 000 or present to the Toowoomba Hospital Emergency Department

From 4pm, Sunday 8th August 2021, our hospital will reopen to visitors. 

Exclusions: 

Anyone who is a close contact, is in quarantine, isolating awaiting a test result, or who has in the last 14 days been in a declared interstate hotspot or exposure venue of concern is restricted from visiting.

Patients, visitors, staff and VMOs entering who reside in the following locations, or have been in the following locations in the last 14 days must wear a mask while in this hospital.

Brisbane    
Sunshine Coast    
Noosa    
Logan    
Redlands    
Moreton    
Gold Coast    
Scenic Rim    
Somerset   

You may not visit if:

  • You are currently diagnosed with COVID-19
  • You are awaiting a COVID-19 test result
  • You have been asked to self-quarantine
  • You have had contact with a person with COVID-19 or have returned from overseas in the past 14 days
  • You have a fever (37.5 degrees or more) or a cough, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath, fatigue, diarrhoea, vomiting or nausea or loss of smell and/or taste
  • Have been in a declared hot spot in the past 14 days.
