You are here:
A bequest is a lasting gift made in a Will. Your Will offers you the chance to help others after your lifetime. A bequest to St Vincent’s enables us to continue providing the best care and treatment for our patients for generations to come. However large or small, your gift will help those who come after you.
A bequest is easy to arrange, and a chance to touch the lives of others. It is also a special way for families to honour and remember someone dear.
We are acutely grateful to those thoughtful people who, over the years, have so tangibly helped us to help others.
If you choose to leave a bequest to St Vincent’s we welcome your input into the best use of your gift and will strive to fulfil your wishes.
To amend your existing Will to make a bequest, it is important to instruct your solicitor to use the correct terms, ie:
“I give and bequeath ……………………………………… to St Vincent’s Health & Aged Care Ltd for the charity purposes of St Vincent’s Hospital Toowoomba, Scott Street, Toowoomba. Queensland. 4350.”
If you have not yet made a Will, the process is relatively simple. All you need to do is list your assets and liabilities and then visit a solicitor.
